Okay, just so we can get this thing started here, I will do another. Instead of doing it weekly, I will do at least one every week, but, for the most part, I will do them when I feel like it. I am going to have way too much fun with this one. With all that said, here we go:
Name: Jonathan Toews
DOB: April 29, 1988
Current NHL team: Chicago Blackhawks
It is a hot summer day in your small hometown. You and your best friend, Trina, have just picked up an ice cream at the local dairy. Originally, you two were going to go to the tennis park, but it is over a hundred degrees outside. You decide to stroll around downtown instead.
While you two are sitting on a bench next to the drizzling creek, an elderly couple and a man in his early twenties approach you. As he asks you to take their picture by the creek, the young man sees your "Chicago Blackhawks: Stanley Cup Champions" shirt that you are wearing, even though you are a long way from the Windy City. He smiles and, as you look from the camera to him, you immediatley know who he is. So does Trina, although she is not a huge Blackhawks fan like you. Your eyes widen in shock, and Trina instinctually drags you away.
"Can you believe it? Jonathan Toews!!" you whisper. You best friend reminds you to breathe. Slowly, you turn back to Jonathan and his grandparents. After snapping a couple pictures, Mrs. Antoinette Toews, Jonathan's grandmother, asks if you and Trina would give them a tour of your fabulous hometown. You are in shock but Trina says yes for you.
You bring them everywhere. You take them to the dairy do they could get ice cream, you visit over a dozen of your favorite shops, and you even take pictures with the many statues that are currently being displayed downtown. Finally, you lead them to the park where the bandstand is. While you are sitting down on a local picnic table, Jonathan dares you to go up on the bandstand and sing. You're not chicken, so you go up there, have fun, and try your best. Just to humor Jonny, you sing O Canada, which you just had to learn, since hockey originated in Canada. He expects that you know the French version, too, so he gives you a really bad time about it when you tell him you don't. You know that it's all in fun, though.
Just when you think the day might actually come to an end, Jonny's grandpa, Stephan Toews, blankly asks if you're Jonathan's girlfriend. You turn to Jonathan to let him answer.
(No, I don't really know the names of his grandparents, I made them up)
So, what do you think? What do you think Jonny will say? What do you want him to say?
